Join us as we discuss the rapidly evolving GP stakes investment landscape. 2022 saw tremendous transaction volume of minority equity positions in alternative asset managers. We are excited to hear from Paul Greenwood (CEO and CIO) at Pacific Current Group, a global multi-boutique asset management firm committed to partnering with exceptional investment managers via minority equity stakes. Pacific Current Group combines bespoke economic structures with strategic business development to provide more than just capital to the GPs they invest in. Paul will share how the space has evolved, what types of investment managers they partner with, and what they look for in investment teams and platforms.

Paul Greenwood, CEO and CIO at Pacific Current Group

As the firm’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer, Paul provides overall leadership and strategic vision, as he spearheads the growth efforts of the firm and guides our global sourcing, investment and portfolio management teams. Paul was a co-founder of Northern Lights Capital Group (now Pacific Current Group). Prior to Northern Lights, Paul served as director of US Equity for Russell Investment Group (“Russell”), where he managed a team of more than 20 investment professionals who were responsible for all of Russell’s US-equity-oriented portfolio management and research activities. He also served as a Russell spokesperson and authored many articles and research commentaries related to investment manager evaluation.

Paul graduated with a BA in Finance from Washington State University and is a CFA® charterholder.
