Heidi Sobol, CFA

Board Member, Treasurer

Heidi is a senior consultant at Geffen Advisors LLC, a specialist consulting firm that offers strategic advice and solutions to investment managers, including hedge funds, private equity funds, fund of funds, and family offices. Her work focuses on funds’ financing relationships, including the impacts of bank capital and derivatives regulatory reforms since the financial crisis, as well as the negotiation of trading documentation that governs funds’ relationships with the dealer community. Prior to joining Geffen Advisors when she moved to Portland in 2016, she was Treasurer at a large multi-strategy hedge fund in New York for nearly five years. Prior to the fund, she worked for 14 years at Deutsche Bank, in various business and credit risk management roles focusing on the bank’s business with hedge funds. Heidi earned an A.B. from Colgate University in Economics (with honors) and East Asian studies, and is a CFA charterholder.
