Kyle Scopie, CFA

Kyle Scopie is responsible for overseeing the trading, strategy, risk and operations of Orbital Capital LLC, a macro hedge fund with a focus on volatility trading. He brings several years of experience in Capital Markets where he worked at one of the top financial institutions in Canada with a focus on risk management. While working in risk management, Kyle worked closely with fixed income securities, credit derivatives, equity futures and municipal bonds where he was responsible for managing their respective risks which included market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, non-trading risk, basis risk, and compliance risk.

Kyle holds the Chartered Financial Analysis designation and has graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Business Administration summa cum laude, being awarded the Alumni Gold Medal Award.
