Bret Norris

Bret Norris, PhD serves as the Vice President of Due Diligence and Research for Inland Securities Corporation and is responsible for product evaluation and approval processes for all investment programs distributed by Inland Securities Corporation (ISC), a position he has held since December 2022. He works closely with Inland’s National Accounts Team to support the efforts of third-party due diligence firms and broker-dealer research departments and aids in their due diligence of Inland products.
Dr. Norris previously served as Due Diligence Officer at M Holdings Securities, part of the M Financial Group, where he oversaw due diligence efforts for all investment and variable insurance products made available on M Holdings Securities platforms.

Dr. Norris has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Puget Sound, a master’s degree in Writing from DePaul University, and a doctoral degree from the University of Washington in Education. He holds FINRA Series 7, 66, and 31 licenses.
