About the speaker
Charles is a Senior Managing Director and is responsible for oversight of all commercial real estate activities and market launches across all product types within the Pacific Northwest.
Charles joined Hines in 2007 in San Francisco where he spent 10 years managing development, acquisitions, financing, marketing, and disposition of commercial and residential assets throughout the Bay Area. His development projects include 400-450 Concar in San Mateo, the VMware campus in Palo Alto, and Spera in San Francisco. He has led the design, entitlements, permitting, construction buyout, and breaking ground for Salesforce Tower, the tallest building in San Francisco at 1,070 feet, spanning over 1.4 million square feet. In 2017, he launched Hines’ Office of Innovation, where he led investments in early-stage real estate technology companies and venture capital funds on behalf of the firm.
