Join us on February 9, 2023, as we welcome Giuliana Bordigoni, Portfolio Manager and Director of Specialist Strategies at Man AHL, to talk about using quant to unlock alternative markets.    2022 will be remembered for events that will have far reaching consequences. Inflation has returned, and in amounts not in seen in 40 years. There was a major war on European soil. And central banks have simultaneously tightened monetary policy to a degree not seen since before the GFC. It is hardly a surprise that this was a challenging period for traditional assets.    One of the bright spots amongst an otherwise cloudy year were strategies that offered diversification and a source of liquidity. Given investor appetite for diversification, it is no surprise then that trend-following has become increasingly competitive. So how does an investment manager stay relevant? Giuliana Bordigoni, Portfolio Manager & Director of Specialist Strategies, Man AHL

Giuliana Bordigoni is Portfolio Manager, Director of Specialist Strategies and a member of Man AHL’s management and investment committees.

She has held several positions since joining Man AHL in 2007, including Head of Alternative Markets and Director of Fixed Income, where she has made significant contributions to Man AHL’s managed futures and Evolution portfolios.

Giuliana holds a PhD in Mathematics and Applications from Politecnico of Milan and a Master of Advanced studies in Finance from ETH and University of Zurich.
